Work Values Predict Job Satisfaction among Chinese Teachers during COVID-19: The Mediation Role of Work Engagement

Teachers’ job satisfaction is a prominent aspect that determines workplace well-being and performance. With the outbreak of COVID-19, changes in teaching process have emerged (e.g., shift to online classes an increase hours), which might be affecting satisfaction. A closer look at predictors teachers’ level they influenced during period COVID-19 pandemic very important. This survey involved sample 2886 Chinese teachers examine effects work values on their through mediating role engagement. The analysis by SPSS 25 PROCESS for software was run, results showed strong effect (β = 0.203, SE p < 0.01) engagement 0.204, 0.017, 0.01). From correlation analysis, strongly correlated with (r 0.499, 0.360, played predicting among this pandemic.
